As we age our muscles naturally atrophy and we experience a loss of strength. Strength training is important for functional fitness, so we feel confident in everyday activities. In this class we’ll cover some basic exercises you can do safely seated in a chair using items you probably have around your house (soup cans). Using a chair and some light hand weights or soup cans, you’ll exercise along with Stacy as she shows you some basic exercises to strengthen your arms, shoulders, back, and, of course, your core.
