This class is inspired by simple Pilates based movements which target your entire body with the emphasis to be felt at times by your core. When we speak ‘core’, we mean most of your body, minus your arms and legs, and even so, they will be involved as well.
We also use our core to help us stabilise our movements.. For example, to keep ourselves from falling over when something unexpected occurs such as a banana skin is left on the floor and we slip on it. The core help keep us in balance. We want to be able to access our abs reflexively – so they can activate strongly enough and in all directions to support and keep us upright.
As we move through our core exercises, we will also be experiencing ways of stretching our body parts
